CF Properties Corp. acquires, operates, and manages income producing real estate primarily in the state of Florida. It was formed in 1993 and presently manages nine properties.
Michael D. Friedman is the President and sole shareholder of CF Properties and is the managing member or partner of the entities that own the properties currently managed by CF. He has been practicing law in South Florida, primarily in the area of commercial real estate transactions, since 1980 (but now only represents himself and his affiliates) and has been investing in commercial real estate since 1984. His portfolio has included over 2,200 multi-family apartment units and in excess of 1.25 million square feet of grocery-anchored retail space.
Spencer H. Friedman serves as Executive Vice President of CF Properties. In that capacity, he oversees day-to-day operations of the firm's portfolio and is responsible for sourcing and closing new acquisitions. Prior to joining CF, Spencer held roles at Rialto Capital Management, where he evaluated more than $1B in non-performing loan portfolios and more than $1B in CMBS loans, in their Miami office, and at Assess+RE, a commercial real estate investment analysis startup in New York City. Spencer has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Miami and an M.S. in Real Estate Development, with a focus on Investment, from Columbia University. Spencer is a Florida-licensed real estate agent.
Newton B. Williams, a licensed Florida real estate agent since 1992 and affiliated with CF Properties since 1998, is CF Properties's Director of Property Management. He is responsible for the oversight of all vendor, tenant, and maintenance related issues.
